Ogden landscape photographers in the late 1800s and early 1900s had the advantage of open fields and views that weren't blocked by trees. Today, forests have taken over many of the old pastures and shorelines. This series of image pairs attempts to duplicate, as closely as possible, the viewpoint of the original photographer, although, in most cases, this required sending up a small drone (a DJI Phantom 3 was used) to peek over the top of the trees.
